August 2000 – July 2001: Lewmar Ltd, Southmoor Lane, Havant, Hampshire (www.lewmar.com)
Product Designer; Whilst at Lewmar I was responsible for a face-lifted winch prototype and the Synchro hardware range, now in production. I also designed a new ergonomic thruster control pad and generated proposals for an updated windlass range. Working alongside engineers and established designers gave me a good grounding for the Toniq-R project.
