Employment History

October 2000 - December 2000: Autocar Magazine - Researcher
I worked at Autocar Magazine for three months as a researcher. In that time my responsibilities/job requirements were as follows:
   Working with the road test team and the news desk.
   Operating Datron measuring equipment to accumulate performance figures.
   Researching and writing news stories and supervising photoshoots.
   Generating artists' impressions of various new cars for the news pages including the previously unseen Bentley Le Mans car.

December 2000 - September 2001: BBC Top Gear Magazine - Freelance Writer
I spent 10 months working at BBC Top Gear Magazine as part of the road test team. My work involved:
   Writing First Steers, news stories and Minitests.
   Generating ideas for new features.
   Representing Top Gear at European car launches.
   Gaining Datron performance times.
   Organising road tests and liaising with PRs.
   Working with photographers on photoshoots.
   Conducting interviews.
